An executive coach is a qualified professional that works with individuals to help them gain self-awareness, clarify goals, achieve their development objectives, unlock their potential, and act as a sounding board.

At COMPETITIVE EDVANTAGE, the executive coaching experience is customized to meet the needs of each client and is focused on what the client wants in the future. This involves discussing challenges, exploring opportunities, developing strategies, defining action steps, and creating mechanisms for accountability and goal achievement.

The coaching experience begins with an initial client assessment to help explore and identify current challenges, opportunities, and goals that will lay the foundation for the coaching experience. It is followed up by:

  • One ( 1 ) 90-minute kickoff/strategy session that sets the stage for the coaching relationship and covers: expectations and agreements, assessment results, and overall goals and outcomes of the coaching experience.
  • A minimum of six (6) monthly, private (60-minute) coaching sessions that will focus on the goals, actions, outcomes, and methods of accountability identified by the Client.
  • A closeout coaching session that provides the client with an opportunity to reflect on the goals, accomplishments, and areas of growth during the coaching experience, as well as set plans moving forward for the future.

POTENTIAL COACHING TOPICS: While the topics discussed in each 1 on 1 coaching session are chosen by the client, below is a list of areas that could be explored:
